Michael Fanger

Founder

Michael’s banking career began in 1981 at Shawmut Bank (Boston, MA) where he worked until 1986 and ultimately served as Vice President. Michael worked for Medallion Financial Corp. (New York, NY) from 1987 to 1997 as Executive Vice President and President of Transportation Capital Corp., a subsidiary of Medallion. With extensive commercial financing expertise, Michael founded Eastern Funding in 1997 and serves as its Managing Member and President.

Brian Grell

Brian Grell

Co-founder, Executive Vice President

Brian is Eastern Funding’s Executive Vice President and has been with Eastern since its founding in 1997. Prior to joining Eastern Funding, Brian served as Controller for the largest coin operated laundry equipment distributor and route operator in the United States from 1987 to 1997. Brian, who is also a Certified Public Accountant, offers a unique perspective in that he has been intimately involved in the construction and financing of new laundries and has also owned and operated coin laundries.

Nancy Robles

President and CEO

Nancy is responsible for all of the company’s day-to-day operational and administrative functions.
During her tenure at Eastern Funding, she has managed the company’s operations functions including credit, compliance, documentation, funding, loan servicing, legal and work-out, technology and human resources.
Outside of Eastern Funding, she serves on the board of the Berkeley College Scholarship Foundation, Brookline Bank’s Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Committee, The Equipment Leasing and Finance Foundation, Equipment Finance Cares Foundation as well as the Monitor Magazine’s Editorial board. She was also voted DEI champion of the year.

Falencia Prime

Chief Operating Officer

Falencia oversees the company’s operations, technology and compliance functions.

Falencia has served over 30 years in the financing and banking industry in senior leadership roles. Throughout her extensive career, she has focused on Enterprise Credit Policy, implemented Quality Assurance Programs, realigned workflow processes through technology migration, and led Business Process Outsourcing efforts.

Tony Regan

Executive Vice President of Sales/Marketing

Tony is responsible for Eastern Funding’s sales and marketing functions. In this role, he develops and directs the company’s strategy for business development and growth across all market segments including laundry, dry cleaning and grocery. Tony has held executive sales roles for over 25 years in commercial laundry and other industries. Prior to joining Eastern Funding, he served as the Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing for the American Dryer Corporation.

Marc Stern

Chief Lending Officer/Executive VP

As Executive Vice President and Chief Lending Officer, Marc is responsible for all non-operational departments and the company’s Specialty Vehicle division. Marc joined Eastern Funding in 2007. From 1988 to 2005, Marc served as President of Viking Financial Services and Chief Operating Officer of Bermil Industries dba Wascomat. With over 25 years in the commercial laundry industry, Marc has assisted thousands of laundry owners nationwide in financing their laundry equipment. Marc is a licensed attorney in the State of New York.

David Miles

David Miles

Vice President, Director of Credit

David is responsible for credit risk management at Eastern Funding. He started with Eastern Funding in 2009 and has played a key role in Eastern’s incremental growth over the years. David has over 20 years of credit and commercial financing experience. David holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Management from Morehouse College.

 
Ana Lage

Ana Lage

Vice President of Operations

Ana I Lage is the Vice President of Operations at Eastern with over 14 years of experience in the organization and 25 years plus in the finance industry.  She began her career as a Funding Officer in 2012 and later led the Documentation Department, driving process improvement and operational efficiency.  In her current role, Ana focuses on enhancing customer experience and strengthening company culture. She has led numerous projects and system conversions and is a graduate of the STRIPES Leadership Program. Ana was also recognized as one of the Top 50 Women in Equipment Finance in 2021.
